TERMS & CONDITIONS

By confirming a booking, guests agree to these terms and conditions. Any breach of the terms and conditions, as agreed by both parties, permits the owner of be&be to refuse entry, amend the fee or immediately terminate the stay. Our cancellation policy is continually being reviewed to account for any developments associated with Coronavirus (COVID-19). We have amended our cancellation policy in alignment with advice from Australian Federal and State Governments and the ACCC. This policy is being continually reviewed. If you are unable to travel due to travel restrictions, we will either issue a credit for the amount of money paid or offer you a full refund, whichever you prefer (less any commissions paid to online booking agents such as Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb, etc.) Credits can be used within 12 months from the removal of the travel restrictions by the relevant government. Otherwise, our standard terms (outlined below under the section Cancellation) will apply.

LICENCE NOT A TENANCY

The booking with be&be is not a residential tenancy agreement under residential tenancy legislations. Failure to comply with any of the guest’s fundamental obligations and the terms and conditions of the property may result in immediate termination and eviction. The guest is granted a licence to occupy the accommodation for the agreed booking period. Refunds will not be paid on terminated occupancies.

NUMBER OF PERSONS

The number of guests must not exceed the number agreed to on the booking confirmation. Excessive noise, parties and functions are not permitted as they can cause disruption to the owners, neighbours and nearby residents.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

Check-in is available from 2.00 pm on the day of arrival. Check-out is 11.00 am on the day of departure. Be&be will try to accommodate requests for early check-in/late check-out, subject to availability.

KEYS

Keys will be left on the table in be&be and the door will be open. Guests are to leave the keys on the table and the door open on their departure.

LINEN

Linen and towels are provided.

PAYMENT

If booking online, you will be required to pay in full. However, if you prefer to give us a call we can take a deposit of 50% with the remaining 50% due 7 days prior to arrival. This can be paid via Pay Id or direct deposit. Guests must only provide credit card details for which they are authorised to use and which is in their name.

CANCELLATION

Full refunds are provided up to 14 days prior to the arrival date. Cancellations within 14 days of arrival are non-refundable.

GIFT VOUCHER

Be&be gift vouchers are valid for one year from date of purchase. They are non transferable unless on request and are not redeemable for cash. All gift vouchers are to be used by the named recipient and are subject to these Terms and Conditions.

NOISE

It is usually very quiet at our accommodation, however be&be takes no responsibility for any issues relating to noise on neighbouring properties.

NO SMOKING

Be&be is a non-smoking premises.

EXCESS CLEAING

Be&be requests guests to leave the property neat and tidy to avoid excess cleaning fees.

DAMAGES

In the event of breakages, damages and lost items, be&be requests guests report the incident as soon as possible.

PARKING

Secure and private guest parking is provided for one guest vehicle. Be&be cannot be held responsible or liable for any fines or penalties incurred by guests or visitors.

PERSONAL AND LOST PROPERTY

No responsibility will be taken by be&be for a guest’s personal property. If items are left at the property be&be will determine whether the items can be located. Return costs and tracking of items are the responsibility of the guest.

PETS

When a booking is confirmed you are agreeing to the pet friendly terms and conditions.

Guests must ensure their dog:

  • Is groomed to avoid excessive moulting
  • Is cleaned prior to entering the house to avoid marks to the property
  • Has had up to date worming, flea treatments, and vaccinations
  • Has had nails trimmed to avoid scratches to the floors and furnishings
  • Does not jump up on beds or furniture
  • Is not left unattended as excessive barking may result in complaints from neighbours

We expect dog droppings are picked up and removed by the guest.

DISCLAIMER

be&be cannot be held responsible for failure or interruption to power or services to the property for reasons beyond our control. Guests’ actions, conduct and safety are the responsibility of the guests.  The owners of be&be do not condone: unsafe, irresponsible or illegal actions/behaviour etc on or off the premises, during a stay or at any other time. A condition of entering and/or staying at this property means that all guests understand and agree to indemnify the agent and owner(s) against any responsibility or action(s) (legal or other), due to any action(s), incident(s), loss or injury(s) while within or outside of the premises (including, but not limited to, the grounds, facilities, structures, etc.) during a stay or at any other time. To the extent permitted to by law be&be will not be liable for losses arising as a result of this agreement whether such losses arise as a result of be&be negligence or otherwise.
